We\u2019re aware that some previous establishments ran large \u201chandling events.\u201d That\u2019s their choice. But we\u2019re not running a circus.<\/p>\n
Reptiles and invertebrates aren\u2019t entertainment props. Frequent, high-traffic handling sessions can be stressful, especially for species that rely on calm, controlled environments. Stress affects feeding, behaviour and overall health \u2014 and that\u2019s something we won\u2019t compromise on.<\/p>\n
That said, we understand that confidence and education are important when stepping into reptile keeping.<\/p>\n
We will soon be offering 1-to-1 encounter sessions designed for those who genuinely want a more bespoke introduction to becoming a reptile keeper.<\/p>\n
These sessions will:

By holding them when we\u2019re closed to the general public, we keep the atmosphere quiet, stress levels low, and the experience meaningful \u2014 for both you and the animal.<\/p>\n
